APPENDIXslow Food in aFricaAs soon as the Thousand Gardens in Africa project was launched in 2010, the Slow Food network began mobilizing itself in Africa and the rest of the world, identifying potential gardens and raising funds. the project’s goal was achieved by the end of 2013, and Slow food relaunched it with a new campaign to create 10,000 gardenS. Behind this extra zero lies a political proposal.
